実インターネット上での実証実験と同程度のリアリティ，
スケーラビリティを有する模倣インターネットを提供するため，その構築手法を研究してきた．
模倣インターネット環境は，その構築手法やその環境を用いた実験手法も確立しつつあり，
さらに広く利用してもらうためには運用における特性の把握が課題となっている．
そこで，実インターネットと，WIDE研究会のネットワークの間に模倣インターネット環境を挟み込み，
ライブトラフィックを用いて模倣インターネット環境の観測を行った．

summary: | In order to evaluate new technologies, network emulation testbeds,
which has similar complexity and scale as real Internet, are required.
We have been developing a method to construct a realistic environment
that emulates the Internet on a testbed. In order to use the emulated
Internet widely, it is necessary to understand characteristics of
its. To verify its characteristics, we observe an emulated Internet
which was set up between the real Internet and a conference network,
so live-traffic from/to the conference network to/from the Internet
passed through the emulated Internet.
